Triples triumph

Congratulations to Margaret Trayhurn, Norman Lawrence and Steve Hall, who are the winners of the club triples competition. It was a most exciting match and after 18 ends the score was 14 to 14, so an extra end had to be played ! Margaret was the lead and succeeded in placing her first bowl very close to the jack and no-one else could match or dislodge her bowl. Several of the spectators said that this was the most exciting match of the weekend and it was a particularly sweet victory for Norman as he is club president.
