​Ottery St Mary Bowling Club was established in 1990 and has matured beautifully over the years!!!

The green is recognised by ourselves and others (we hold a number of county events every year) to be of a very high standard - this is complemented by the calibre of players at the club and the friendliness of the welcome that you are guaranteed to receive.

• Internal competitions - we host 13 every year, a combination of men's, women's and mixed - all competitive but played in a good spirit
• Friendly matches - home and away, mixed events against a number of clubs within Devon
• Touring sides - we warmly welcome lots of sides to our home and enjoy playing them and entertaining them
• Clubs nights every Friday night
• Fun events - there is something arranged most months - some are themed and some end with a delicious BBQ on the terrace
• Roll-ups - just turn up and have a game with your chums
• With a numbers of qualified coaches on our books, help is available for newcomers and experienced bowlers alike.

During the winter months, after the green is put to bed, we hold short mat (indoor bowls) ​sessions and club nights (skittles, short mat, darts etc) most Fridays. We also host 'Foodie Fridays' where members can put their hand up to use the facilities to create some delicious cuisine or just run up and enjoy the fruits of someone else's labour! 

We have a 5* (hygiene rated) kitchen and a fully stocked bar as well. 

​No problems with parking either - the car park is enormous and its free! ​
